Pa-Pawida

Pa is a high school student from Princess Chulabhorn's College Lopburi. She came to visit my lab for two weeks. She was working on a project entitled "Statistics of Coffee Consumption in Faculty of Science, Mahidol University".
Jobs: 1) Constructing a questionnaire to ask people about their favorite drinks, average daily consumption, and personal information, 2) Calculating some statistics (mean, standard deviation, t statistic, z statistic), 3) Testing hypotheses for one and two population groups, and 4) Developing the polynomial regression model .

Note: From the survey, 1) latte is the most popular drink, and 2) staffs drink more coffee than any other groups.

Jeep-Natthamon Maneenoy
Jeep is a final-year DPST student in the gifted program of the Samsen Wittayalai School. She came to visit my lab for one month and was working on the norovirus project. Her project is entitled ""
Jobs: 1) Creating a compartmental model 2) Calculating the reproduction number 3) Proving the local stability of steady states, and 4) Investigating the model numerically to study effects of the proportion of infected students on
the transmission dynamics of norovirus.

Prize: Jeep won a presentation prize for her work in the national meeting of DPST students.

*Jeep recently received a scholarship to study geological sciences aboard from the DPST.
